Mindfulness Meditation

People come to mindfulness and meditation practices for many reasons. Maybe curiosity,  anxiety, pain, learning strategies for calming the mind, and more. Mindfulness is about paying attention to the present moment, shifting out of autopilot and awakening to the here and now and freeing yourself from regrets about the past and worries about the future.

 

Meditation groups offer a place to share time together, to learn and practice at your own pace, starting wherever you are. It’s not therapy. It’s not striving to reach goals or piling more tasks onto your days. It is a way of being that can enrich your own path with understanding, kindness, gratitude and calmness.

The endless everyday duties as an adult can be overwhelming and stressful. In this 5-week course, you will gain an understanding of how to be with difficult thoughts and emotions so they don't cause overwhelm.

 

You will learn and develop mindfulness practices and strategies that guide you back to the present moment. With these practices, energy is restored to us—and we feel restored to our lives.

Teenagers in Nature

Mindfulness for Teens

It can be stressful being a teen.
In this 6-week course, we will learn and practice how to strengthen our inner resources for coping and become more balanced by being more mindful.
